PGC can employ the following kinds of workers:
US citizens
Green Card holders
Employment Authorisation Document holders
Dependent Visa
F1 Visa*
H1B Holders (through C2C).
*F-1 Work Permit
PGC cannot onboard EE with F-1 Work Permit. They can engage workers in their first year of their F-1 (OPT/CPT) visa if they are holding an Employment Authorisation Document (EAD) card. Other documents needed to determine F-1 status are:
I-94 Stamp,
Foreign passport,
I-20 form.
They cannot facilitate employer-sponsored visas:
E1 (Trade Visa)
E2 (Investor Visa)
L1 (Intra-company transfer)
Country-specific (E3 - Australia, H1 - Chile & Singapore..)
STEM Extension
STEM extension is a 24-month period of temporary training that directly relates to an F-1 student's program of study in an approved STEM field
F-1 students who completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in select government-designated STEM fields and are currently working with post-completion OPT may apply for the STEM extension of 24 months of additional employment if they have a job or job offer from an E-Verified employer and meet all the required criteria
To receive the STEM OPT extension, a student must pursue their practical training through an employer that is enrolled in USCIS's E-Verify employment eligibility verification program.
