Talk Track

VERSION 1: SHORT (Quick Call Response)

Pillars: Transparency, Trust

Your intellectual property always belongs to you. WorkMotion does not keep or claim any rights. We use a clear chain of title that transfers all IPR from the talent to the legal employer, then to WorkMotion Software GmbH, and finally to you. This ensures full ownership, legal clarity and protection for your business.

VERSION 2: MEDIUM (Standard Conversation)

Pillars: Compliance, Transparency, Trust

I completely understand how important intellectual property is to your organisation. To be clear, WorkMotion never owns your IP. We use a structured chain of title to ensure everything created by your talent transfers smoothly and securely to you. Talent employment contracts include strong IPR clauses that assign rights to the legal employer. Those rights move to WorkMotion Software GmbH through our partner agreements, and then directly to you via our terms and conditions. This consistent process ensures you always retain full ownership, with no gaps or uncertainty.

VERSION 3: LONG (Full Narrative)

Pillars: Compliance, Transparency, Customer & Talent Experience

Thank you for raising the topic of intellectual property. It is a critical area, and you deserve complete clarity on how your rights are protected. At WorkMotion, we take a very structured approach to ensure that all intellectual property created by your talent transfers seamlessly to you. To be completely clear, WorkMotion does not own your IP and never claims ownership at any point.

We use a legally robust chain of title that has been designed to protect clients in every hiring scenario. When we onboard talent, their employment contract includes strict IPR clauses that assign any created work to the legal employer, which may be a WorkMotion entity or one of our licensed partners. Through the Master Partner Agreement, those rights are transferred to WorkMotion Software GmbH in Germany. Finally, our terms and conditions ensure that all rights transfer directly to you as the client.

This multi-step chain is deliberate. It provides a clear, documented transfer path that leaves no gaps or ambiguity. It also means that the protection of your intellectual property is fully aligned with local labour laws and global compliance standards. We strongly recommend using our standard IPR wording, as altering these clauses can undermine the chain of title and reduce the level of protection we can guarantee.

With this framework, you can be confident that everything your talent creates belongs entirely to you. We safeguard the process so that you can focus on innovation, knowing that your intellectual property is secure and fully protected.
