Talk Track
VERSION 1: SHORT (Quick Call Response)
Pillars: Effortless, Customer & Talent Experience, Compliance
Because WorkMotion is the legal employer, all absences, including holidays and medical leave, must be kept up to date in the WorkMotion Platform. You can do this through an integration or by updating balances directly in the platform. Accurate tracking keeps everything compliant and ensures your talent has a smooth, predictable experience.
VERSION 2: MEDIUM (Standard Conversation)
Pillars: Effortless, Customer & Talent Experience, Compliance
Since WorkMotion is the legal employer, we are legally required to track all absences, such as holidays, medical leave and other statutory leave. This information must be maintained accurately in the WorkMotion Platform, whether through an HRIS integration or manual updates. This ensures compliance with local labour laws, prevents errors in pay and entitlements, and gives your talent a clear, seamless experience. If you are using an integration, absence updates flow automatically. If not, your admin users can keep balances up to date directly on the platform.
VERSION 3: LONG (Full Narrative, Two Scenarios Included)
Pillars: Effortless, Customer & Talent Experience, Compliance
Absence management is an important topic to cover, because WorkMotion is the legal employer of your talent. This means we are responsible for keeping accurate records of holidays, medical leave and any other statutory or contractual absence. Incorrect or incomplete absence information can affect payroll, legal entitlements and the overall experience for your talent, so keeping these records up to date is essential.
Not Using a System with an Integration
If you are not using an HRIS integration, your talent can submit all absence requests directly in the WorkMotion Platform. It is the easiest and most reliable way to keep everything accurate. If your internal process requires you to approve or manage leave separately, your HR Admin Users can manually update absence balances on the platform. This ensures everything stays aligned and prevents issues such as incorrect salary calculations, misaligned entitlements or delays for your talent.
Using an Integration
If you are using an integrated HRIS, you can synchronise absence data automatically. This makes the process even smoother, reduces manual work and significantly lowers the risk of incorrect or missing data. All holidays, medical leave and other absences approved in your HRIS will flow directly into the WorkMotion Platform.
Closing
Whichever setup you use, the key point is that all absences must be recorded in the WorkMotion Platform. This ensures we can manage employment obligations accurately, maintain compliance across all countries and give your talents a seamless, consistent experience. It also guarantees that everything is handled correctly on your behalf, without extra effort from your side.
If you would like guidance on setting up the integration or managing absences directly in the platform, our team is here to support you at every step.
