SEPA Direct Debit
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) allows customers in 36 European countries to make cashless euro payments — including credit transfers and direct debits — under the same conditions as domestic payments. SEPA includes EU countries as well as several non‑EU nations.
Who Can Use SEPA Direct Debit?
Clients with a legal entity and a bank account in a SEPA country
Invoices issued in EUR (€)
SEPA Direct Debit payments apply to invoices issued by WorkMotion Software GmbH only.
Who’s Excluded?
UK‑based clients (due to regulatory complexities)
Switzerland‑based clients, who will now be invoiced in CHF
Clients with invoices in non‑EUR currencies (e.g., GBP, USD)
Clients invoices by WorkMotion Switzerland can not use SEPA direct Debit
Example: A company like SumUp, based in Bulgaria (a SEPA country) but invoiced in GBP, does not qualify for SEPA Direct Debit.
