A Residency VISA allows its bearer to enter Portugal and request a residency permit with AIMA. This VISA is valid for 120 days with 2 entries and comes with an appointment with AIMA. This type of VISA is meant for purposes such as work (independent, subordinated, remote work, and even job seeking) and study (including Investigation and Internship).

Additionally, residency VISAS also accommodate possibilities for retired individuals, religious purposes, and individuals living out of their one regular passive income.

If you have a talent with a VISA:

  1. We can hire the talent on a fixed-term contract until the expiry of the VISA, in agreement with the client OR

  2. We can issue a permanent contract and make sure that the employee provides us with proof of the VISA and the AIMA appointment they have in the future. This is sufficient.

We already have a permit clause in the contract so should anything happen, the contract becomes void if the employee does not get their permit from AIMA.
