• Work permit requirement: A disabled person may work only if they have a work permit issued by an occupational physician, and the role must align with the indications in the doctor’s certificate. (WM GURU, Source 7)

  • Working time limits: For a person with a moderate or severe disability, working time must not exceed 7 hours per day and 35 hours per week.

  • Night work and overtime: A person with a disability may not be employed during nighttime and may not work overtime.

  • Additional break: The person is entitled to an additional break for exercise or rest. The break is 15 minutes and counts as working time.

  • Pay protection: Applying the reduced working time standard does not reduce the fixed monthly salary.

  • Exceptions to limits: The limitation on working time and the prohibition of night and overtime employment does not apply in two cases, guarding roles, and where the employee requests it and an occupational doctor agrees.

  • Additional leave: A person classified with a significant or moderate degree of disability is entitled to an additional 10 working days of annual leave per calendar year. WorkMotion internal guidance also reflects an additional 10 days for moderate or severe disability, and notes it may link to reduced working hours.

  • When the additional leave starts: The right to the first additional leave is acquired after one year from the date of classification.
