With reference to the holiday for the patron saint of the municipality where the employee carries out their work, if it falls on a weekday (including Saturday), no additional remuneration is provided. In this case, the employee benefits from the holiday by abstaining from work, without any further compensation.

If the holiday for the patron saint, or any other public holiday, falls on a Sunday, the employee is entitled to additional remuneration equal to one day of work. This is because the employee, as it is already a weekly rest day, was unable to enjoy the holiday.

For the CBA/CCNL Somministrazione, the work week is Monday-Saturday.

The patron saint public holiday is strictly tied to the town/city/municipality of residence.

For example, for workers residing in Milan city, 7 December is a public holiday. This does not apply to workers living in the wider Milan region but outside of the city proper. Workers who reside elsewhere will need to source this information and request a day off (type: Public Holiday).

The vendor will pay directly through the payslip, based on the Talent's place of residence. There is no need for any further communication from our side, but the employee must submit a Paid Leave request with a note on the Platform for record-keeping purposes.
