Fon.Te and Other Complementary Funds
In Italy, employees can direct 50% or 100% of their statutory severance payment (TFR - Trattamento di Fine Rapporto) to a complementary pension fund.
The contractual fund under the applicable CCNL is the Fondo Fon.Te.
Employees can, however, choose any other pension fund they prefer.
During onboarding, Talents must complete Section 1 of the TFR2 form and return it to the OB specialist.
The section has 2 options.
Option 1: TFR will be transferred to the specified complementary pension fund. The employee must include a copy of their membership form or a Change of Employer form. Both forms are provided by the pension fund, not by WorkMotion.
Option 2: The TFR is accrued monthly and will be paid in a lump sum at the end of employment.
This choice is irreversible and is clearly stated in the form.
