GoGlobal process
The Employee needs to notify the Employer on Day 1 of any absence due to illness. The Employee then has to call the Doctor on Day 1 or Day 2 to book an appointment or a telephone consultation and diagnosis. The Employee then needs to request the doctor to submit a sick note via IMPS (online Government system) in Italy which will then provide the Employer with the relevant sick note via an online portal.
Please note the Employee must request the sick note via the IMPS system no later than by day 2 of being sick under Italian Law.
