Although most Clients simply accept the T&Cs when registering on the platform, the AE needs to find the company register address if they want to sign the Letter of Acceptance of the T&Cs or an Addendum to modify specific clauses of the T&Cs. We need the correct company register address because this allows Legal to perfectly identify the company.
Canned Response:
The ‘company register address’ is not a full address but indicates the specific authority/company register where the company was officially registered. Belgium, for example, only has one national company register, and therefore, for Belgian Clients, the MSPA should always state ‘registered in the company register of Belgium under company registration number [...]’.
Typically, you can find the company register address in the imprint of the Client's website.
If this information is not available on the website, the company register address can be found in the official company/business/commercial register in the respective country - the name of this business register will be different from country to country. In Germany it is called Handelsregister, sometimes relevant information can also be found in the Unternehmensregister. In Switzerland, for example, the company register is organised at the cantonal level.
On Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_official_business_registers) you can translate business/company/commercial register into the language that you are looking up and then google for the company register in the city/state/country where the client is registered.
