Work from Home

Neteem's benefits are detailed on their website and are mostly determined by laws and collective bargaining agreement. Expenses for work-at-home, including use of home for professional reasons if employee requests it, follow URSSAF regulations.

Unless specified on a CBA, the maximum tax-free WFH allowance (Utilisation du matériel informatique de votre salarié) for 2024 mentioned on URSSAF website is €59.4/month. If a talent requests a WFH allowance, it is mandatory that the client agrees on an amount with the talent and provides the allowance. The client can also decide to provide a WFH allowance without the talent requesting it.

The amount will have to be communicated to Neteem and it will be included directly from their side: it doesn't follow the contract change procedure on the platform.

Work-at-home indemnity

Should the employee request it, they would be entitled to claim a "work-at-home" net indemnity to cover the cost of office space, electricity, etc. at home.

This would either be a maximum of 588€/year (without the need to justify it via receipts) or calculated on a one-off basis, based on actual receipts (rental contract, electricity bills, etc.), and the proportion of the employee's property that is used for professional purposes. The employer/employee can agree on a lower amount (although clients tend to provide the full amount).

EE could also claim 50% of his home internet package (it is assumed that the other 50% is for personal usage), and potentially a phone package.

As far as reimbursing 50% of the phone package is concerned, there is no maximum as such, other than the rule of the French social security that the amounts must be 'reasonable'.  As these are expenses, they are reimbursed NET.

The co-working space is not a mandatory cost.  However if the employee works from home and requests a WFH indemnity, the employer has an obligation to come to an agreement with the worker on an amount to compensate the use of his/her home as an office space.
