WorkMotion applies probationary periods to all new employment contracts as standard practice to mitigate employment risks. However, under specific circumstances, this probationary period may be waived subject to strict criteria and additional safeguards.
The probationary period may only be removed when both of the following conditions are met:
A documented prior work relationship must exist between the Client and the candidate. The Client, not Talent, must provide justification and confirmation of this prior working relationship. Acceptable forms of prior engagement include:
Previous freelance arrangements,
Direct employment in another country,
Or other substantive professional relationships.
The Client must formally confirm their agreement to bear increased deposit costs that arise due to elevated termination risks associated with waiving the probationary period.
