How long does it take for the employer to be reimbursed for sick leave?
Once the sick leave reimbursement request is submitted to the Danish municipality, it will take up to 5-8 weeks, and it may take longer during the summer vacation period (June-Aug).
During the process, the employee will be contacted by the authorities to confirm the sick leave, for which they need to reply back and confirm the duration with no delay.

Works Hours with Municipality Sick Leave Reimbursement
Talents received confirmation of us submitting data to the municipality, but we put the weekly hours at 37, but they're actually 40.
Feedback: In the application, we can only apply the max. 37 hours per week (that is the normal weekly hours in Denmark). However, that will not affect the claim.
