In Bulgaria, there are two kinds of Mutual Agreements in termination:

  1. Termination without severance and only compensation for unused paid leave, if any

  2. Termination with Severance of minimum four (4) gross monthly salaries in addition to the compensation for unused paid annual leave, if any.

In case of termination with severance, the common severance package for non-managerial staff would be between four (4) and six (6) gross monthly salaries.

For managerial staff the severance package is usually higher, in the range between six (6) and eight (8) gross monthly salaries or even higher.
