Overtime in Belgium
In Belgium, the overtime premium rate is impacted by whether the overtime was worked in daytime or nighttime hours. Overtime premiums and night-work premiums are separate concepts, and sometimes both can apply.
Overtime is usually defined as hours above the normal daily/weekly working time (commonly 38 hours/week).
So purely from an overtime perspective, day vs night does not change the statutory overtime rate.
